Most personal finance apps are dashboards. They show you everything and leave the deciding to you. ClearLedger is being built around one question instead: how do I get out of debt faster?
A gameplan, not a chart wall
ClearLedger brings your accounts, transactions, and debts into one place, then turns them into a plan. It ranks your debts, shows what an extra payment would change, and points to the expenses where trimming would free up the most room.
A compact cash-flow chart shows money in and out, with detail when you tap into a month, but it’s there to support the plan, not replace it.
Exact by default
Money is stored in whole cents everywhere, so payoff projections never drift from rounding errors. If you already budget with YNAB, ClearLedger can connect read-only: it can see your accounts, but it can never change them.
Where it is now
ClearLedger is in active development and isn’t on a store track yet. Before it is, its privacy policy will be published here, written to the same standard as the others: a plain-language short version first, and every service it relies on named.
If debt payoff is something you’re working through and you’d like to hear when ClearLedger is ready, keep an eye on this journal.
